After our first day in Cataloochee, all we can say is WOW! It is almost like a Cades Cove that NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT! If you like Cades Cove, you simply MUST include this awesome area in your vacation itinerary. While filming the Palmer House on Monday - September 9th, 2002 at approx. 2:00 PM (which took about two hours) there was not a soul that stopped in, and we hardly noticed ANY traffic drive by!!!

The CATALOOCHEE virtual tour/editorial review is UNDERWAY! Check back daily, as it will take a few weeks to complete as there is a LOT more there than expected, and we got some photos of some gigantic Elk!
